The referee ignored Só de Fula F.C.'s protests and gave Lauro de Brito a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cadu Team booed when Só de Fula F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Válbson Paiva didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 16th minute. Cadu Team's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 18 minutes into the match, Só de Fula F.C.'s goalkeeper Zé Carlos Perez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson Paiva. Nilton Quirino hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With his leg Zé Carlos Perez managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Válbson Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Zé Carlos Perez made a huge save. After 33 played minutes Só de Fula F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Prestes. In the 34th minute of the game Joaquim Prestes made a throw-in which João Francisco Munhoz played forward. Joaquim Prestes made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cadu Team's Ciro Sanches. João Francisco Munhoz made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Flávio Rosado immediately put the ball in play. Válbson Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gelu Lepuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Almeida in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Lauro de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Só de Fula F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauro de Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

If Hugo Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Só de Fula F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Válbson Paiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Paiva in the 78th minute of play forced Só de Fula F.C.'s goalkeeper Zé Carlos Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Carlos Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Paiva in the 80th minute of play. Carlos Augusto Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Gelu Lepuș made a huge save. Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Pinho in the 95th minute of play. Cadu Team's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
