Wanderson Freire came out of the goal and Doğaner Doğu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute of the match Cambotinha EC got a corner. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Falcão Novaes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jos Verduin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Claudinho Azevedo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jos Verduin got free with Claudinho Azevedo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudinho Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Jos Verduin sent off a good shot on target. Tiaguinho Saldanha hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Wanderson Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cambotinha EC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Douglas Paulista hit a great ball. Claudinho Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Jos Verduin sent off a good shot on target. Claudinho Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karel-Jan De Winter in the 24th minute of the match. Wanderson Freire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Léo Souto's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Cambotinha EC were awarded a corner. Falcão Novaes went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Vergílio in the 30th minute of play forced Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Claudinho Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes, Cambotinha EC's Alfredão Gaúcho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wanderson Freire came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cambotinha EC reached it. Wanderson Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğaner Doğu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wanderson Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Souto in the 37th minute of play. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Wanderson Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Paulista in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Doğaner Doğu made a precise shot to the right of Wanderson Freire. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Claudinho Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jos Verduin in the 43rd minute. In the 48th minute, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Jos Verduin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudinho Azevedo. Claudinho Azevedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Léo Souto made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Léo Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambotinha EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Léo Souto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wanderson Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Wanderson Freire managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Cambotinha EC's Léo Souto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léo Souto in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wanderson Freire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jos Verduin in the 58th minute of play forced Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Claudinho Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's Doğaner Doğu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wanderson Freire narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cambotinha EC were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Falcão Novaes took the corner. The corner ended in Falcão Novaes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Wanderson Freire did a great save. 75 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jos Verduin came free, but Claudinho Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jos Verduin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinho Azevedo was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Cambotinha EC's Léo Souto got a free kick in the 81st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cambotinha EC's Léo Souto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wanderson Freire. That made the score 1-2 after 87 minutes of play. If Doğaner Doğu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Wanderson Freire got control of the ball when Doğaner Doğu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cambotinha EC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
