After a defensive mix-up in Quandus's zone, Enrico Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto Quirino came out of the goal and Enrico Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4 minutes into the match, Universidade Celestial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iuri Félix came free, but Gaston Sessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Augusto Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Alagoano in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Enrico Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Augusto Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Enrico Carvalho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but João Augusto Quirino firmly grabbed it by the left post. João Augusto Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Universidade Celestial FC's Baltazar Alagoano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Gabriel Vaz in the 20th minute of play forced Universidade Celestial FC's goalkeeper Gaston Sessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Enrico Carvalho put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of João Augusto Quirino. 4-0 became the score in the 25th minute when Enrico Carvalho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Enrico Carvalhos short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got João Augusto Quirino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 29 minutes into the match, Quandus's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Alagoano came free, but João Augusto Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Enrico Carvalho sped through Quandus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of João Augusto Quirino. Enrico Carvalho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, João Augusto Quirino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Quandus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Enrico Carvalho scored to the left of an out of position João Augusto Quirino, making the score, 6-0. João Augusto Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Alagoano in the 38th minute of the match. João Augusto Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Tiago Gabriel Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quandus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Universidade Celestial FC the free kick. A collision led to Quandus getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Vaz hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrico Carvalho to make the kick off. Baltazar Alagoano charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltazar Alagoano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Baltazar Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Quandus's Luiz Eduardo Barbosa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luiz Eduardo Barbosa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Quandus protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luiz Eduardo Barbosa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Quandus getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Luiz Eduardo Barbosa hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrico Carvalho in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Augusto Quirino saved Quandus from getting behind. 66 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luís Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. João Augusto Quirino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enrico Carvalho scored 8-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Augusto Quirino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Carvalho in the 75th minute of play forced Quandus's goalkeeper João Augusto Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Quandus's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Carvalho came free, but João Augusto Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Baltazar Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universidade Celestial FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltazar Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Augusto Quirino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Quandus defense, Eugênio Negri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Augusto Quirino. The Quandus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Augusto Quirino should have stopped the shot. João Augusto Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Matos in the 92nd minute of play. Duarte Fernandes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaston Sessa having to make a save. João Augusto Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltazar Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Universidade Celestial FC had played much better football throughout.
