The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. João Augusto Quirino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antony Sharkin went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Quandus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Santos Campineiro:s goal. Cristiano Antunes placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 10th minute, Jânio Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Onuralp Ergüden took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Augusto Quirino. João Augusto Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 14th minute, Anibal Enekoitz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of João Augusto Quirino, passed just outside the right post. Onuralp Ergüden took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Augusto Quirino. João Augusto Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 19 minutes into the match, Quandus's goalkeeper João Augusto Quirino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Onuralp Ergüden. 21 minutes into the game, Santos Campineiro's Jonathan Orlandus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Augusto Quirino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 24th minute of the match, Onuralp Ergüden got a very nice opportunity to score, but João Augusto Quirino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luiz Eduardo Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Onuralp Ergüden reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Augusto Quirino. The goal made the score 6-0. In the 34th minute, Santos Campineiro's Onuralp Ergüden dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. 37 minutes into the game, Onuralp Ergüden recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Augusto Quirino. Onuralp Ergüden showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 8-0. With a little luck, Quandus's João Augusto Quirino got control of the ball when Onuralp Ergüden tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Santos Campineiro's Anibal Enekoitz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Augusto Quirino. That made the score 9-0 after 43 minutes of play.

Santos Campineiro made a substitution. Sidnei Baptista replaced Onuralp Ergüden. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sidney Albuquerque to strike the kick off in the second half. Sidney Albuquerque took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Augusto Quirino. João Augusto Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. 60 minutes into the match, Sidney Albuquerque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Augusto Quirino. Quandus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sidney Albuquerque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Santos Campineiro's Ahmad Reza Asadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Albuquerque in the 65th minute of play. João Augusto Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson Camargo in the 67th minute of the match. João Augusto Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Albuquerque in the 76th minute of play forced Quandus's goalkeeper João Augusto Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Quandus's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Baptista came free, but João Augusto Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Quandus's Duarte Fernandes got a free kick in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Sidnei Baptista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. João Augusto Quirino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Quandus's Jânio Berger got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute of the match Jonathan Orlandus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Augusto Quirino skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Sidney Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos Campineiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidney Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Fernandes in the 92nd minute of play forced Santos Campineiro's goalkeeper Ahmad Reza Asadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Santos Campineiro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
