When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gilvan de Lara sped through Quandus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of João Augusto Quirino. João Augusto Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan de Lara in the 18th minute of play. Adhemar Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Thomás Vides made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Gilvan de Lara put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of João Augusto Quirino. The supporters of Quandus booed when AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Pichler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quandus's Dorian de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ played a much better game than Quandus and deserved their victory. The Quandus players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
