The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Geert Wijgaert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Ahmad Reza Asadi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lara Guadalupi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Albuquerque in the 7th minute of the match. Santos Campineiro were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after MAGNIFICOS.FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonathan Orlandus took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as MAGNIFICOS.FC's Geert Wijgaert slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmad Reza Asadi. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. 14 minutes into the match, Santos Campineiro's goalkeeper Ahmad Reza Asadi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geert Wijgaert. Geert Wijgaert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmad Reza Asadi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geert Wijgaert in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geert Wijgaert in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmad Reza Asadi saved Santos Campineiro from getting behind. In the 40th minute of the match MAGNIFICOS.FC got a corner. Santos Campineiro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gilberto Lalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. MAGNIFICOS.FC's Gilberto Lalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ahmad Reza Asadi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lara Guadalupi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Orlandus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, MAGNIFICOS.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Enekoitz came free, but Lara Guadalupi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Santos Campineiro's Sidnei Baptista was substituted for Onuralp Ergüden. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anibal Enekoitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Requena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, MAGNIFICOS.FC's Mané Gerber got a free kick in the 58th minute. Santos Campineiro's Ahmad Reza Asadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geert Wijgaert in the 62nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Geert Wijgaert sped through Santos Campineiro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmad Reza Asadi. MAGNIFICOS.FC made a substitution. Leonardo Paz replaced Omer Guyomarch. MAGNIFICOS.FC made a substitution. Davi Vaz replaced Paul Albeanu. MAGNIFICOS.FC made a substitution. Frederico Hermes replaced Shivaraja Budaj. After a defensive mix-up in Santos Campineiro's zone, Davi Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmad Reza Asadi came out of the goal and Davi Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Enekoitz in the 84th minute of play forced MAGNIFICOS.FC's goalkeeper Lara Guadalupi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geert Wijgaert might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmad Reza Asadi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geert Wijgaert ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmad Reza Asadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geert Wijgaert in the 88th minute of play. Pedro Requena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geert Wijgaert in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmad Reza Asadi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MAGNIFICOS.FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Santos Campineiro for a fine match.
