The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guaberto Elodio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Renatinho Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Taurus Assoc. de Futebol:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marília AC:s goal. In the 93rd minute of the game, Marília AC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. In the 98th match minute, Taurus Assoc. de Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Delfim de Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Nelsinho Alvarenga made a huge save. The Taurus Assoc. de Futebol supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Marília AC's performance. The match ended with a win for Marília AC.
