The Atlético Capixaba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Atlético Capixaba's Thodoris Aggelou got a free kick in the 9th minute. Charles de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo de Alcântara in the 10th minute of the match. Valdo da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Fesik in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Otto Fesik made a precise shot to the right of Valdo da Costa. Guardiões da Muralha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Christiano Azevedo made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Atlético Capixaba's Faustão Sá. Otto Fesik might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdo da Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 66th minute, Naldo Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdo da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After some careless play in the Guardiões da Muralha FC defense, Naldo Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdo da Costa. The Guardiões da Muralha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdo da Costa should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute Naldo Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Naldo Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdo da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Atlético Capixaba's Adam Curteanu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Christiano Azevedo in the 78 minute of the game. Guardiões da Muralha FC's Valdo da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Machado in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Atlético Capixaba's Naldo Machado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdo da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Guardiões da Muralha FC's Dorian Vides suffered a concussion in the 90th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Naldo Machado fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Capixaba's protests and gave Naldo Machado a yellow card for diving instead. Naldo Machado hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atlético Capixaba had played much better football throughout.
