Spectators: 142 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Róbson Gaspar started the match with the kick off. In the 6th match minute, Benjamim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. When São Salvador's Nelson Palmeira in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Benjamim's goalie prevented a goal. Leandro Maciel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelson Palmeira's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The supporters of São Salvador booed when Benjamim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Maciel came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by São Salvador's Analajit Aujla. But to his dismay, Analajit Aujla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Palmeira in the 18th minute of play forced Benjamim's goalkeeper Leandro Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Nelson Palmeira sped through Benjamim's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leandro Maciel. Leandro Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Leandro Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Palmeira in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelson Palmeira in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Maciel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iskandar Hui kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, São Salvador's Luís Pontes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Maciel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 41st minute, Nelson Palmeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The São Salvador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Benjamim's Leandro Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton de Queirós in the 44th minute of play. São Salvador's Nelson Palmeira suffered a sore thigh after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of São Salvador booed when Benjamim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramón Cardozo fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 49th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. After the first half São Salvador were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aman More made a kick off. 54 minutes in the game, Ramón Cardozo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leandro Maciel having to interfere. Leandro Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Analajit Aujla, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, São Salvador's Aman More ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leandro Maciel. Leandro Maciel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. 59 minutes into the match, Benjamim's goal looked a bit too open when Analajit Aujla came free, but Leandro Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Rúben Raposo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamim's Leandro Maciel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Benjamim from getting a goal against them. Analajit Aujla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Maciel having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Benjamim's goal looked a bit too open when Aman More came free, but Leandro Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamim's Leandro Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aman More in the 75th minute of play. Leandro Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aman More, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Analajit Aujla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nilton de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aman More in the 92nd minute of play. With his leg Leandro Maciel managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when São Salvador's Aman More fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Benjamim's Róbson Gaspar got a free kick in the 97th minute. Aman More received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Leandro Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
