Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gwidon Cwojdak to make the kick off. Erasmo Secanell was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 66 minutes into the match, 余永川 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Secanell. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
