After a rather tough play, Bola Quadrada FC's Lothar Beckenbauer got a free kick in the 28th minute. Cipriano Firmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richárd Lovász in the 29th minute of the match. After 30 minutes Bola Quadrada FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Poli Puyol who took care of the corner kick. Almir Meira made a great header on Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s corner, it was just that Bola Quadrada FC's Cipriano Firmin managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richárd Lovász in the 39th minute of play forced Bola Quadrada FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Firmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lothar Beckenbauer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bola Quadrada FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lothar Beckenbauer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s Richárd Lovász got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Casa Real de Savóia F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Casa Real de Savóia F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
