Cipriano Firmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Lopez in the 10th minute of play. Cipriano Firmin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murillo Paranaense in the 12th minute. In the 18th minute Kauan Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Rechnitzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Rechnitzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Zé Roberto Nóbrega's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Rechnitzer was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The penalty shot was made by Tibo Huijsmans, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lunáticos's Dennis Rechnitzer. 0-2. Pedro Paulo Araújo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Murillo Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunáticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murillo Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bola Quadrada FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Firmin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Roberto Nóbrega stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dennis Rechnitzer came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Bola Quadrada FC's Betão dos Santos. But to his dismay, Betão dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Dennis Rechnitzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Mangueira in the 70th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Róbson Mangueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Rechnitzer was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Zé Roberto Nóbrega notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Lunáticos's Dennis Rechnitzer.
