Ripway's Rômulo Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Mangueira in the 27th minute of play. Zé Roberto Nóbrega hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Rômulo Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Roberto Nóbrega in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Ripway booed when Bola Quadrada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lothar Beckenbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Ripway's goalkeeper Rômulo Vander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Betão dos Santos. Bola Quadrada FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ripway the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Bola Quadrada FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ripway:s goal. Ripway's Rômulo Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Mangueira in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Bola Quadrada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Torres came free, but Cipriano Firmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Ripway's goalkeeper Rômulo Vander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Roberto Nóbrega.
