After 8 played minutes Tio Patinhas got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Valladares. With his leg Hudson Cordeiro managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Intendencia AD's Carlinhos Branco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tio Patinhas's Luisinho Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cleiton Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleiton Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Renato Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Paulo Renato Valladares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cleiton Terra having to make a save. After 30 minutes of play, Tio Patinhas's Geraldo Miranda made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cleiton Terra was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute Geraldo Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleiton Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleiton Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Valladares in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match Tio Patinhas got a corner. Intendencia AD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geraldo Miranda ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Tio Patinhas's Paulo Renato Valladares to fire away a dangerous shot which Cleiton Terra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Carlinhos Branco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hudson Cordeiro was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Aníbal Custódio's late challenge caught a Tio Patinhas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aníbal Custódio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Intendencia AD getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Aníbal Custódio hit a great ball. Carlinhos Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Hudson Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Tio Patinhas were awarded a corner. Geraldo Miranda went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlinhos Branco in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hudson Cordeiro saved Tio Patinhas from getting behind. Intendencia AD's Cleiton Terra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Intendencia AD from getting a goal against them. Cleiton Terra was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Josué Oliveira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Josué Oliveira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The audience was convinced that Carlinhos Branco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hudson Cordeiro was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 85th minute Paulo Renato Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleiton Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Tio Patinhas's corner Geraldo Miranda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cleiton Terra quite easily take care of the ball. In the 88th play minute Geraldo Miranda came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cleiton Terra. 1-5. Tio Patinhas's Hudson Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Branco in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute Josué Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleiton Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geraldo Miranda took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cleiton Terra. Cleiton Terra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Tio Patinhas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
