Nildo Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Alcântara in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Tio Patinhas booed when Scotland Titans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geraldo Miranda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 26th playminute. After the first half Scotland Titans were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tio Patinhas's Gil Vianna was substituted for Walmir Peres. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Alcântara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. With a little luck, Tio Patinhas's Nildo Braga got control of the ball when Jairo Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jairo Alcântara in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nildo Braga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Doni Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Augusto Motta from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Nildo Braga's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
