Rui Dionísio's late challenge caught a Intendencia AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Dionísio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, Guando floripa F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Dionísio to maneuver through the defense.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Dal Bello to strike the kick off in the second half.
