Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Siqueira took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Doug Zappa F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luca Postelnicescu came free, but Iwan Kolbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match Vila Nova FC got a corner. Doug Zappa F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luca Postelnicescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vila Nova FC's Luca Postelnicescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iwan Kolbe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luca Postelnicescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After taking down the ball on Vila Nova FC's corner Luca Postelnicescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iwan Kolbe quite easily take care of the ball. Vila Nova FC's Luca Postelnicescu got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Mete Nared shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Kolbe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Postelnicescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléber Basso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Iwan Kolbe made a huge save. Vila Nova FC's Fiori Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Domingues in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Vila Nova FC's Luca Postelnicescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iwan Kolbe. Iwan Kolbe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Mete Nared had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mete Nared who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Iwan Kolbe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Vila Nova FC's Luca Postelnicescu got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Vila Nova FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Luca Postelnicescu hit a great ball. Vladimir Lara succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Iwan Kolbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Postelnicescu in the 62nd minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Doug Zappa F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luca Postelnicescu came free, but Iwan Kolbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mete Nared's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwan Kolbe was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Iwan Kolbe didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vila Nova FC's Mete Nared shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Luca Postelnicescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cléber Basso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute André Luís Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Vila Nova FC were the better team. Vila Nova FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
