The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Sport Club Internacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. Atlético de Crisal's Cido Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joacim Melander in the 6th minute of play. Fede Gøl made a great header on Sport Club Internacional's corner, it was just that Atlético de Crisal's Cido Valle managed to reach the ball for a save. 10 minutes into the match, Atlético de Crisal's goal looked a bit too open when Joacim Melander came free, but Cido Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joacim Melander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cido Valle having to make a save. Cido Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joacim Melander, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Maicon Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Capixaba in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joacim Melander in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cido Valle saved Atlético de Crisal from getting behind. Sport Club Internacional's Maicon Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Ferreira in the 27th minute of play. Cido Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joacim Melander in the 28th minute of play. Sport Club Internacional were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Atlético de Crisal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joacim Melander took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Atlético de Crisal's goalie and right to Henrique Aparecido. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Atlético de Crisal's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 32nd minute Romarinho Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético de Crisal's Cido Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joacim Melander in the 33rd minute of play. Maicon Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Atlético de Crisal's Haroldo Capixaba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 48th minute Henrique Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fede Gøl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaká Ferreira to make the kick off. Maicon Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Cido Valle made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Joacim Melander sent off a good shot on target. With 58 minutes on the clock, Matías de Andrade commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 59 played minutes Sport Club Internacional got a freekick which was hit by Matías de Andrade. In the 61st minute Joacim Melander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético de Crisal's Cido Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético de Crisal from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute Kaká Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maicon Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaká Ferreira went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 73rd match minute, Atlético de Crisal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Adelino Miranda notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Sport Club Internacional's Maicon Fernandez. Maicon Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute Romarinho Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maicon Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Miranda scored 6-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maicon Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atlético de Crisal fully deserved thier win.
