Gedeon Káposztás received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Augusto Pombal came out and tried to block the shot, but Gedeon Káposztás slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Edson Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Carlos Augusto Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Grêmio Papão de WC booed when POA Gladiators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Augusto Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gedeon Káposztás, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Gedeon Káposztás left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio Papão de WC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in POA Gladiators's zone, Edson Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Augusto Pombal came out of the goal and Edson Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, POA Gladiators's Carlos Augusto Pombal got control of the ball when Gedeon Káposztás tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gedeon Káposztás received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After 24 minutes, Gedeon Káposztás made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. POA Gladiators's Carlos Augusto Pombal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Augusto Pombal. That made the score 6-0 after 30 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Papão de WC's Luiz Paulo Marquez got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Giovanni Carioca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andréas Linquist. Grêmio Papão de WC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Andréas Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermín Mala in the 35th minute of the match. Carlos Augusto Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selman Pektaşi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grêmio Papão de WC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edson Faria in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match Gedeon Káposztás climbed in front of goal and pressed up 8-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Carlos Augusto Pombal. Gedeon Káposztás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Fermín Mala made the kick off in the second half. If Edson Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edson Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Pombal having to interfere. After 60 minutes POA Gladiators's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edson Faria who took care of the corner kick. At last the ball reached Hélio Botelho at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of POA Gladiators. 10-0. After a defensive mix-up in POA Gladiators's zone, Edson Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Augusto Pombal came out of the goal and Edson Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Gedeon Káposztás notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of POA Gladiators's Carlos Augusto Pombal. Carlos Augusto Pombal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Edson Faria came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Grêmio Papão de WC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edson Faria couldn't finish the play. Carlos Augusto Pombal came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás. But to his dismay, Gedeon Káposztás quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. In the 73rd match minute, Grêmio Papão de WC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Simão to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77th play minutes Gedeon Káposztás shot 13-0, a short shot which went by Carlos Augusto Pombal and just under the crossbar into goal. Grêmio Papão de WC's Geovanildo Zago managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eliézer Coutinho in the 84 minute of the game. 86 minutes into the game, Gedeon Káposztás cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-0. Carlos Augusto Pombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the game, Gedeon Káposztás cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 17-0. Carlos Augusto Pombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Augusto Pombal narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
