Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elof Mellbad started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Francisco Gallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wrexham A.F.C. the free kick. After 2 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Gallo. A collision led to Wrexham A.F.C. getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Bo Vinström hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Wrexham A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Fontirroig came free, but Per-Oskar Wiberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bolivia's Mario Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Freixa was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Elof Mellbad capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elof Mellbad really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. David Grep blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Freixa having to make a save. Camilo Freixa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elof Mellbad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. With his leg Camilo Freixa managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Wrexham A.F.C.'s Elof Mellbad fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 29th match minute, Wrexham A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvin Rolandsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Harry Nordlander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Wrexham A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Vinström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Oskar Wiberg having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niklas Drake sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sture Brolin made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Paul Klementsson however managed to control. 60 minutes into the game, Benito Madrid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wrexham A.F.C. the free kick. Benito Madrid hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Benito Madrid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Elof Mellbad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Wrexham A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sture Brolin. Per-Oskar Wiberg stood somewhat misplaced when Eduardo Fontirroig came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 84 minute. There was no doubt that Wrexham A.F.C. were the better team. Wrexham A.F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
