Demonde Jacobson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karlus Waugh in the 16th minute of play forced Países Bajos's goalkeeper Angelo Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmacio Tebaldo in the 17th minute. Romon Oliver's late challenge caught a Países Bajos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Artaldo had several of the Jamaica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-1 score and a disappointed Demonde Jacobson as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Camilo Artaldo put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Demonde Jacobson.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timos Kavourakis made a kick off. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Camilo Artaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Peixoto went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timos Kavourakis in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demonde Jacobson saved Jamaica from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Alvaro Ebardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Países Bajos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-1. If Timos Kavourakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Ebardo went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 15-1 was the resulting score.
