In the 6th minute, Vykans Vikingar's Faas Wilkes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of the match. Martin Mutumba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 17th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Fernan Berart got a free kick in the 19th minute. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Eric Van Lint received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Eric Van Lint slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milagros Fraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mats Hermansson made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 33rdth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Ekrot was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 41st minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Tage Glanselius got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 47 minutes, Faas Wilkes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vykans Vikingar and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. Faas Wilkes hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Souza in the 52nd minute of the match. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Tage Glanselius made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Leonardo Trancoso replaced Faas Wilkes. Vykans Vikingar's Elliott Bogren was substituted for Hugo Eden. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Murillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mutumba in the 78th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Eliseo Mina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Revis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Souza in the 94th minute of play. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Abdi Revis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vykans Vikingar.
