Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Santos de Buenos Aires FC defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliciano Ayala. The Santos de Buenos Aires FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliciano Ayala should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Seber in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Santos de Buenos Aires FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Ayala came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albino Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliciano Ayala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Seber in the 33rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Seber, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Amado Corderall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Corderall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Danilo Seber took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Blai in the 61st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Blai in the 69th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Cambiasso came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Albino Canor made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Cambiasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Seber in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. After 87 minutes, Alex Chicote mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Santos de Buenos Aires FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Canor in the 92nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Seber in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Seber in the 98th minute of play. 100 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Seber came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 101 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Albino Canor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Albino Canor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Santos de Buenos Aires FC had played much better football throughout.
