Benedicto Ursino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kilian Mbappè in the 30th minute. In the 35th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, Black Dog F.C.'s Valter Xabat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luz Tejedor took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedicto Ursino. Benedicto Ursino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 44th minute, Israel Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Black Dog F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Benedicto Ursino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Peru were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kilian Mbappè to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Eulalio Olando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 played minutes Black Dog F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Chorache. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kilian Mbappè in the 60th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Valter Xabat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Black Dog F.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Olov Bergman hit a great ball. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Benedicto Ursino made a huge save. After 78 minutes Black Dog F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Black Dog F.C. defense, Luz Tejedor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Ursino. The Black Dog F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Ursino should have stopped the shot. Black Dog F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Rafael Gallo scored to the left of an out of position Benedicto Ursino, making the score, 0-5. 90 minutes into the game, Valter Xabat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Black Dog F.C. throughout the match.
