In the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th match minute, Sarı kaya FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Erdem Türel to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Sarı kaya FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Hayrettin Yaşam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarı kaya FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hayrettin Yaşam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sarı kaya FK's Ahmet Ege Yalaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Ege Yalaz having to interfere. In the 27th minute Ahmet Haşim Çelikkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Ahmet Haşim Çelikkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarı kaya FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Haşim Çelikkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hayrettin Yaşam got free with Julio Vera in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hayrettin Yaşam in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sarı kaya FK's Ahmet Ege Yalaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Hayrettin Yaşam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Sarı kaya FK's Celil Nebahattin got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Haşim Çelikkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Ege Yalaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sarı kaya FK defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Ege Yalaz. The Sarı kaya FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Ege Yalaz should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Sarı kaya FK fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Sarı kaya FK's Hayrettin Yaşam looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sarı kaya FK made a substitution. Allan Sandström replaced Serafim Mangueira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Sandström in the 72nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Sarı kaya FK were awarded a corner. Kent Drake went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Hayrettin Yaşam got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Sarı kaya FK fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Sarı kaya FK's Hayrettin Yaşam looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ahmet Haşim Çelikkan might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Haşim Çelikkan ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Sarı kaya FK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Kent Drake came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Sarı kaya FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Drake couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Drake came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayrettin Yaşam in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Hayrettin Yaşam made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sarı kaya FK.
