When Ekedalen SK's Ingvar Bark in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Strömsbro IF's goalie prevented a goal. Luis-Miguel Camara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Bark, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute Tony Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Bröms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Tony Skarkman could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Per Bröms however easily saved by the left post. Strömsbro IF's attentive Harry Blom managed to snatch the ball when Alexander Boström made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. Örjan Frisk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Bröms having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ingvar Bark's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis-Miguel Camara was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. If Tony Skarkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tony Skarkman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Per Bröms firmly grabbed it by the left post. Per Bröms stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tony Skarkman's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Ekedalen SK's Per Bröms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Skarkman in the 32nd minute of play. Per Bröms made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Tony Skarkman sent off a good shot on target. Per Bröms was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Tony Skarkman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tony Skarkman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Tony Skarkman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per Bröms read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig Rönn to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Bark came free, but Luis-Miguel Camara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 played minutes Ekedalen SK got a freekick which was hit by Uno Åkesson. Örjan Frisk struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Per Bröms didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strömsbro IF. If Tony Skarkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute of the match Strömsbro IF got a corner. Ekedalen SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robert Falck ran over to the corner to take the kick. Robert Falck made a great header on Strömsbro IF's corner, it was just that Ekedalen SK's Per Bröms managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 65th minute, Lucas Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Eliasson. When Ekedalen SK's Ingvar Bark, in the 68th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ekedalen SK. 70 minutes into the match, Ekedalen SK's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Skarkman came free, but Per Bröms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per Bröms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Luis-Miguel Camara made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Uno Åkesson sent off a good shot on target. Sten Hagberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Luis-Miguel Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Ingvar Bark reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luis-Miguel Camara. The goal made the score 1-1. Per Bröms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Frisk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Strömsbro IF were awarded a corner. Robert Falck went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Strömsbro IF's Robert Falck to fire away a dangerous shot which Per Bröms despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 89th minute, Robert Kalfhage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis-Miguel Camara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingvar Bark in the 96th minute. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.
After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Harry Blom got a free kick in the 99th minute. Ekedalen SK's Robert Kalfhage couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 100th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Strömsbro IF. Per Bröms didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tony Skarkman went, in the 102nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Strömsbro IF had won after a very even match.
