Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Liu Xing Qiang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Stefan Fausild in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Liu Xing Qiang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play forced Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's goalkeeper Liu Xing Qiang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Fausild got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Serafim Malta. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Liu Xing Qiang saved Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC from getting behind. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Serafim Malta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's goalkeeper Liu Xing Qiang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francesco Coscia in the 28th minute. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Serafim Malta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Stefan Fausild made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Gayoso during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Moises Gayoso hit a great ball. Luz Tejedor kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Luz Tejedor fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peru's protests and gave Luz Tejedor a yellow card for diving instead. Liu Xing Qiang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Liu Xing Qiang. That made the score 0-2 in the 60 minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Liu Xing Qiang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play.
