With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 30th minute of play. If Raimundo Espírito Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bai Kun De showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Axel Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Axel Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Axel Montenegro hit a great ball. Carter Barillari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Supremacy Catania FC's Bai Kun De played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 51st minute of play. In the 58th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Abram Sarmiento got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bai Kun De quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rachid Baba Ali Factor in the 60th minute of the match. Colombia's Luis Cazalla managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Franco Lizzi in the 62 minute of the game. Axel Montenegro scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bai Kun De, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the game, Dave Di Gregorio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dave Di Gregorio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, Supremacy Catania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Bai Kun De reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
