Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona made the kick off and thus started the match. Pedro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute José Puyol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Almarín Peña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Puyol struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciruel Academy. After 10 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pedro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Ciruel Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaba Li to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Navarro. Ciruel Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Florentino Rodriguez's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Rodriguez helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Ciruel Academy got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Rodriguez. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Navarro came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 35th minute, Estebano Vuelta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 1-3. 41 minutes into the match, Ciruel Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Pedro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paşa Bolas kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tio Cabezon made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Ciruel Academy's Pedro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 55th minute of play. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ciruel Academy's Rufo Azofra was substituted for Rafael Villanueva. Pedro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 61st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Pedro Navarro in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Navarro was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Alberto Tafalla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Tafalla really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. With a little luck, Ciruel Academy's Pedro Navarro got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. The Ciruel Academy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
