Henry Sugar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Charlie Bucket reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Tamayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brooklyn SC's Charlie Bucket played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Roma got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Brooklyn SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randall Haynes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Henry Sugar lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Ricardo Zorita. The audience was convinced that Richard Roma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Richard Roma took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Sugar to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Sugar in the 79th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brooklyn SC had played much better football throughout.
