The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Bruno Beldad a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Bruno Beldad hit a great ball. Uruguay's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bertin Gandia 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Uruguay's attentive Alberto Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Frechoso Rivera made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertin Gandia in the 17th minute of play. After 17 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the FORZA BRESCIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maximiliano Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The throw-in from Lalo Lagunas in the 50th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xorxe Perpiñán in the 52nd minute of play. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 57th minute of the match. After 61 minutes of play Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Maximiliano Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Jaime Cazalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertin Gandia in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind.
