Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Radomil Mietus got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Radomil Mietus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 7th minute Radomil Mietus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. After 9 minutes of play, Club Sportivo Quilmes's Radomil Mietus made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmílson Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Arnold Ponk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Radomil Mietus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Mietus, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Silverio Chuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Pastor Firman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 25th minute of play. Pastor Firman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 29th minute of the match. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute. Joshua Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 37 minutes Club Sportivo Quilmes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Sportivo Quilmes's goalie and right to Joshua Secada. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club Sportivo Quilmes's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Radomil Mietus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Samuel Medero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmílson Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Radomil Mietus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Radomil Mietus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 52nd minute of play forced Club Sportivo Quilmes's goalkeeper Pastor Firman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Radomil Mietus sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Verón in the 64th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Venegas lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Sportivo Quilmes:s goal. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Edmílson Martins:s penalty. 77 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Ponk came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes in the game Waldemar Przybylo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Emanuel Ladio. In the 86th minute, David Oihan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Sportivo Quilmes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
