ORIZABA F.C.'s Edelmiro Ramone was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jimeno Nevada in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyprian Oliszewski to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Fausto Beattie notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Club Atlético Magallanes's Jimeno Nevada. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Barros in the 90th minute of play forced ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Oliver Kan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ORIZABA F.C.'s Oliver Kan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taci Argün in the 91st minute of play.
