Kyle Davies sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Retumbante FC's Vágner Guerra got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bruno Barrett. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, José Paulo Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Vágner Guerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabinho Bittencourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. After 23 played minutes Retumbante FC got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Mendonça. 30 minutes into the game, José Paulo Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Barrett didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 7-0. 36 minutes into the match, José Paulo Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Paulo Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Paulo Mendonça in the 39th minute. In the 41st play minute José Paulo Mendonça came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bruno Barrett. 9-0. In the 44th minute Décio Antonio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, José Paulo Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Paulo Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabinho Bittencourt went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Belmiro Mello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. José Paulo Mendonça took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 16-0. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Décio Antonio in the 76th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Vágner Guerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Troy Kennedy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Retumbante FC the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troy Kennedy to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, José Paulo Mendonça notched a goal, 17-0, to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 84 minutes, José Paulo Mendonça made it 18-0 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Guerra came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Fabinho Bittencourt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabinho Bittencourt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 19-0. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Retumbante FC fully deserved thier win.
