Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Temperley's goalkeeper Ioan Voicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ioan Voicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Antonio Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Temperley the free kick. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Atlético Temperley booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético Temperley's Joel Pitin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 26th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. A collision led to Club Atlético Temperley getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rolando Lopez hit a great ball. Gaston Laurendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ioan Voicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. Ioan Voicu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Correia in the 39th minute of the match. If Gaston Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Correia to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Temperley defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ioan Voicu. The Club Atlético Temperley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ioan Voicu should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Felix Montenegro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Club Atlético Temperley's Ioan Voicu got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 67th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. Cristian Sancho kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 67thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Club Atlético Temperley's keeper Ioan Voicu was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Correia in the 80th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Cristiano Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Joel Pitin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Temperley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ioan Voicu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When Rolando Lopez fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Temperley's protests and gave Rolando Lopez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Rolando Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador played a much better game than Club Atlético Temperley and deserved their victory. The Club Atlético Temperley players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
