The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristobal Eneto was the one to do the kick off. Cristobal Eneto might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristobal Eneto ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Eneto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Honduras booed when Deportivo Marplatense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Ove Olsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Marplatense's Albano Peter got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Cristobal Eneto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Eneto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Cristobal Eneto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Marplatense's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Eneto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
