After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Luis Rubio got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Andreas Jonasson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Edgar Mellin sent off a good shot on target. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Björck in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match, Andreas Jonasson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ricardo Zorita was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 22 played minutes Dalens Darlings got a freekick which was hit by Huang Yan Fei. In the 24th match minute, Dalens Darlings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Axel Bollström to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Andreas Jonasson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita. Andreas Jonasson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Adam Hajduk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Dalens Darlings's Andreas Jonasson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 3-0 after 32 minutes of play. In the 37th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Rubio to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the game, Andreas Jonasson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita. Andreas Jonasson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Mateo Leguizamo missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 46 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Adam Biörnberg right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Jonasson in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute Andreas Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Mellin came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Björck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Björck's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Hajduk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 minutes, Valentino Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Dalens Darlings players grew even worse after the yellow card.
