An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 18th minute of play forced BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's goalkeeper Toader Tinu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's Toader Tinu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gabríel Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Mateus Migolla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateus Migolla in the 36th minute. Toader Tinu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 42nd minute of play. Gabríel Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's Muzaffer Bozoğlu was substituted for Yusuf Ziya Asya. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Mateus Migolla came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabríel Batistuta in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Yenal Nizami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguay for a fine match.
