The audience was convinced that Sjaak Degens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. The Buitenhout FC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Buitenhout FC's Sjaak Degens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ruud Reinders received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacobo Nores came out and tried to block the shot, but Ruud Reinders slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 12th minute. Paraguay's attentive Primitivo Escribano managed to snatch the ball when Ruud Reinders made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruud Reinders, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Son Adam's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Son Adam helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Buitenhout FC's Son Adam got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruud Reinders's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Reinders in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Buitenhout FC's Ted Fokkelman got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sjaak Degens to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Buitenhout FC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sjaak Degens in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Ruud Reinders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Reinders in the 55th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Iwo Wietrzychowski in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Ivan Prats. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 70 minutes into the game, one of Paraguay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ted Fokkelman placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 75 minutes of play, Buitenhout FC's Teodosio Johans made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 81 played minutes Buitenhout FC got a freekick which was hit by David Jans. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tudor Mihoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud Reinders in the 86th minute of the match. After 88 minutes, Ruud Reinders made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Ted Fokkelman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Iwo Wietrzychowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
