In the 9th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Giovani Pinheiro hit a great ball. Abraham Alguacil hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Alex Cambeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Abraham Alguacil sped through Jenipapo SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kaká Lopes. In the 32nd minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaká Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abraham Alguacil scored 0-5 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaká Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Magalhães made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Panama's Aaron Barrios got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 61 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ros. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cacá Brodel hit a great ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Kaká Lopes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 66th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Kaká Lopes was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Jenipapo SC through an amazing save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 67th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Kaká Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes of play, Jenipapo SC's Sebastião Sabóia made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Panama's Miguel Miralles got a free kick in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kaká Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Lopes having to interfere. Isidoro Sarmiento was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Panama's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Jenipapo SC's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaká Lopes came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisão Silveira during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Luisão Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Tomas Berganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaká Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacá Brodel during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Cacá Brodel got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jenipapo SC's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaká Lopes came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 99 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Kaká Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Berganza.
