After a defensive mix-up in Paunero's zone, Wilfredo Cordara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Inguma came out of the goal and Wilfredo Cordara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Cordara in the 4th minute of play forced Paunero's goalkeeper Albino Inguma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfredo Cordara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albino Inguma having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Aristide Iureș notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chivos's Jesus Atarratze. Jesus Atarratze was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jesus Atarratze was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Aristide Iureș capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aristide Iureș really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Tadeo Ederono put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jesus Atarratze. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesco Cilli got free with Jesus Atarratze in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Wilfredo Cordara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chivos's Jesus Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Iureș in the 32nd minute of play. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Francesco Cilli got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-0. 34 minutes into the match. Salvador Maiorga hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Wilfredo Cordara made the kick off in the second half. Chivos's Jesus Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Cilli in the 52nd minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Chivos's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Ederono came free, but Jesus Atarratze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Cordara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albino Inguma was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Godo Munk hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Paunero's Vinicio Palos was substituted for Cristian Peli. Godo Munk kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to Paunero getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Vinicio Palos hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Paunero's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Cordara came free, but Albino Inguma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Atarratze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Ticho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesus Atarratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ata Cante, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Chivos made a substitution. Batuhan Modrić replaced Wilfredo Cordara. The corner ended in Jose Rosario almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chivos's Jesus Atarratze did a great save. Jesus Atarratze didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ata Cante went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Jesus Atarratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Iureș, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Batuhan Modrić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chivos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. When Chivos's Batuhan Modrić in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paunero's goalie prevented a goal.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paunero fully deserved thier win.
