Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boguslaw Siwek saved Powiśle Warszawa from getting behind. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boguslaw Siwek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lorenzo Rocendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Powiśle Warszawa's Boguslaw Siwek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 20th minute of play forced Powiśle Warszawa's goalkeeper Boguslaw Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Kadir Celilay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kadir Celilay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Radomir Lato hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Powiśle Warszawa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wawrzyniec Trac in the 28th minute. The corner led Powiśle Warszawa's Teobald Turek to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teobald Turek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Powiśle Warszawa's Boguslaw Siwek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 32nd minute of play. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boguslaw Siwek having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boguslaw Siwek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Siwek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kadir Celilay struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Powiśle Warszawa. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kadir Celilay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 51 played minutes, Powiśle Warszawa's Wawrzyniec Trac shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Powiśle Warszawa reached it. Boguslaw Siwek was a little too slow when Lautaro Mancebo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 2-1. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kadir Celilay in the 63rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Boguslaw Siwek made a huge save. If Andriy Kaká had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boguslaw Siwek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 74th minute. In the 74th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Boguslaw Siwek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawrzyniec Trac in the 77th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Boguslaw Siwek could save by the left post. 82 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Trac came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wawrzyniec Trac in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 88th minute of play forced Powiśle Warszawa's goalkeeper Boguslaw Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but Powiśle Warszawa were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
