Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after ISPARTASPOR U21's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel van der Bij having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michel van der Bij, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michel van der Bij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Gumaro in the 21st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, ISPARTASPOR U21's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Michel van der Bij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joško Van Landschoot's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The ISPARTASPOR U21 fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when ISPARTASPOR U21's Joško Van Landschoot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 32 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Joško Van Landschoot came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ISPARTASPOR U21 getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Olcay Tezkan hit a great ball. Michel van der Bij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 33rd minute of play. Michel van der Bij took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michel van der Bij came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. The supporters of Mexico booed when ISPARTASPOR U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olcay Tezkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Joško Van Landschoot made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 52nd minute of play forced ISPARTASPOR U21's goalkeeper Michel van der Bij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Michel van der Bij in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th match minute, ISPARTASPOR U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Behzat Amir to maneuver through the defense. ISPARTASPOR U21's Michel van der Bij proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save ISPARTASPOR U21 from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Gumaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joško Van Landschoot in the 74th minute of play. After 74 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. ISPARTASPOR U21's Davi Isac was substituted for Alfredo Gumaro. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joško Van Landschoot in the 78th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Isac in the 88th minute of the match. Behzat Amir hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Michel van der Bij made a huge save. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ISPARTASPOR U21 to leave the ground with a draw.
