Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gürbüz Hendekli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 4 minutes of play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arif Nihat Torgay was left in no man's land by his defense there! A well-hit corner resulted in Camilo Covarrubias heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Göktürk Bozlak made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Nihat Torgay saved Los Tatangelos from getting behind. If Gürbüz Hendekli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Maximiliano Escribano fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Maximiliano Escribano a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Jorge Figueiredo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a free kick in the 34th minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Figueiredo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso 37 minutes into the match. Arif Nihat Torgay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Tatangelos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. Jaime Cazalla made a great header on Uruguay's corner, it was just that Los Tatangelos's Arif Nihat Torgay managed to reach the ball for a save. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uruguay! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Francisco Seco in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arif Nihat Torgay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Francisco Seco had several of the Los Tatangelos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Arif Nihat Torgay as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of Los Tatangelos booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 64thth minute of the game Jorge Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Nihat Torgay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Arif Nihat Torgay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Jorge Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Los Tatangelos got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Göktürk Bozlak ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 86 minutes, Jorge Figueiredo made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jorge Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Arif Nihat Torgay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Lucjan Zdanowicz's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucjan Zdanowicz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Los Tatangelos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Zdanowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Uruguay players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
