Abel Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 3rd minute of play. 3 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Abel Reyes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Serafin Criston's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Criston in the 8th minute of play. Filip Oryniak got a throw-in 11 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eliseo Cresenciano. In the 12th minute Serafin Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmacio Amaya was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A.P.J.! After 17 minutes C.A.P.J.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abel Reyes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tomas Illescas succeeded in the game's 17th minute to get real power on a long shot . C.A.P.J.'s Abel Reyes hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Serafin Criston showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 21 minute of play. Abel Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. C.A.P.J.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Tomas Illescas to score against Abel Reyes in C.A.P.J.'s goal. 1-3 after 26 minutes. 38 minutes into the match, Serafin Criston dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 3-3. 47 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafin Criston. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Karmel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Abel Reyes managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 60th match minute, C.A.P.J. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Rosalio to maneuver through the defense. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute Nicodim Alecu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 67th minute of the match. Desiderio Kellenberger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicodim Alecu was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A.P.J.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Nicodim Alecu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafin Criston went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. In the 77th minute, Serafin Criston made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-3. In the 81st minute Serafin Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Karmel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. C.A.P.J.'s Abel Reyes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.P.J. from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafin Criston went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-3 was the resulting score. After 90 minutes of play, C.A.P.J.'s Serafin Criston made it 8-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Genaro Domenec charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genaro Domenec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Genaro Domenec hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. C.A.P.J.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
