After taking down the ball on Honduras's corner Edmundo Espiga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lyle Flanagan quite easily take care of the ball. F.C internazionale's Lyle Flanagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 44th minute of play. Staffan Karlberg hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
