Marcel Ternby might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel Ternby ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Lope came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes, Pascual Carballar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colombia and the El retorno del Pincha players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Pascual Carballar hit a great ball. Sven Thorsberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. 17 minutes into the game, El retorno del Pincha's Sven Thorsberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. André Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Thorsberg in the 64th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
