Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vasco Lamego got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Celestino Dei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa Rica reached it. Vasco Lamegos short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Celestino Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Gilen in the 11th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DUGGAN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasco Lamego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th match minute, DUGGAN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Fortun to maneuver through the defense. Celestino Dei didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Epifanio Ruisko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vasco Lamego was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Epifanio Ruisko in the 39th minute. The audience was convinced that Evaristo Gilen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The supporters of DUGGAN FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vasco Lamego went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 54th minute Vasco Lamego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vasco Lamego in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. In the 60th minute Vasco Lamego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Piarres in the 61st minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Ramon Piarres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramon Piarres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After 64 minutes, Vasco Lamego made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute, Angel Miliano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Ruisko scored 8-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Evaristo Gilen made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Celestino Dei in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There was no doubt that DUGGAN FC were the better team. DUGGAN FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
