Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Finlay Stair got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geroy Ascue to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Wilson Vidal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Demonde Jacobson. Wilson Vidal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson Vidal in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Jarell Hill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jailson de Carvalho went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 28 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Romon Oliver. In the 31st minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Souza came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizinho Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Geroy Ascue hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Dudu Queiroz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson didn't even have to move. Jailson de Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jailson de Carvalho in the 43rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Jailson de Carvalho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 3-0 after 44 minutes of play. Deivid Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jailson de Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Souza came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Juvenal Novaes got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Jailson de Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Nova Iguaçu MZFC made a substitution. Zé Carlos Cordeiro replaced Anselmo Batista. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dalmo Rocha was substituted for Telmo Barbosa. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dalmo Rocha went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Jailson de Carvalho. But to his dismay, Jailson de Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Souza in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Jailson de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Vidal in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Nova Iguaçu MZFC booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wayan Freeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson de Carvalho came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Souza in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Vidal came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Jamaall Padmore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jamaica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Iguaçu MZFC the free kick. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jamaall Padmore hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Nova Iguaçu MZFC were the better team. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
