The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lisandro Iraunkor made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Di Yan Yue in the 56th minute of play forced Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Rambo Ramírez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes, Dobromir Prokowski made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Colo-Colo's Rambo Ramírez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rambo Ramírez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Prokowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colo-Colo's José Julio Almeida was substituted for Marco-Antonio Etcheverry. The crowd rose to their feet as Ivo Basay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zbigniew Glapiak. That made the score 5-1 in the 83 minute of play. Rambo Ramírez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Duszenski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Hajduk kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
